Upgrade to Version 4

Hi, Just upgraded from version 3.2.5 to Version 4. When I come to open a chart I previously created on the older version a dialogue box pops up stating that V 4 cannot open a V3.2.5 (or V3.2.4) file. How do I get V4 to import or open older files ? :?:

Hi Nick, I think apologies might be in order ! I've had another go after entering my Serial and Key Nos. and now everything seems fine and I can open my old charts. Sorry for troubling you.

Hi,

That's OK.

You must enter your new serial number / registration key using "Help | Register" before you can open older chart files in V4.

Thanks for the reply Nick. Can I ask another question ? When I am satisfied Version 4 is working OK with the old V3 files what happens to the old V3 program ? Can I safely delete it ?

Hi,

Since both V3 and V4 are installed, you can use Uninstall in the Control Panel to remove "TreeDraw" (which will be V3) but leave "TreeDraw V4" installed.

This will not remove any of your TreeDraw chart files.
