Hi,
With a previous version of K&K (I'm now using v3.2.6) I was able to create a local web site on CD to pass to on to my family.
Now it seems in order to have the treeview PDF clickable I have to enter the full URL of my genstart.htm; OK as far as my real website goes but how do I specify a local web?
Local export from K&K is held at D:/My%20Documents/Kith%20and%20Kin/Export/html/genstart.htm
What should I put in the 'online url' field?
Thank you Nick for still having the best Geneology program out there.

Re: Creating local web pages
Hi,
The problem is that PDF does not support relative URL addressing which would allow you to click on the family rectangles to get to the family data. This is the reason that you are required to specify the full online URL in the export options.
Your only alternative is to export the Tree Layout view as a separate PDF file by using the reporting function in Kith and Kin Pro. The family rectangles in the PDF file will not be clickable.

Thanks, Nick,
Thought along those lines myself. Nevermind.
Sorry about the late rely; I was expecting an email update to say my post had been passed by the moderator.
Keep up the good work.
