Bug in WWW export with 2nd name of wife

I found a bug in the WWW export. I try to explain it with my example:

I created family F692 and unknown father and mother:

family "Nafz" [F692]
father: Nafz, ?? [P2165]
mother: Nafz, ?? [P2166]

Now i could find the correct name of these persons:

family "Nafz" [F692]
father: Nafz, Constantin [P2165]
mother: Straub, Anna [P2166]

The WWW export for the wife was:

Constantin NAFZ [P2165] = Anna STRAUB [P2166]
- Constantin
* Geboren 31.08.1863
* Gestorben 02.04.1946
- Anna
! Zweitname ?? NAFZ
* Geboren 28.02.1866
* Gestorben 02.10.1933

The "2nd name" (german Zweitname) of Anna Straub showed the old "??"for the first name and the old family name. I could not find a way to fix this error.

The only solution: delete person [P2166] and create new person with correct name. Now the WWW export is correct.

I hope this bug can be fixed soon.

We have now looked into your problem.

This is not really a bug but is being caused by the "Aliases" feature.

When you add a wife to a marriage, Kith and Kin Pro will automatically add an alias to the wife's record which uses her firstanames and the surname of her husband, see: Adding and maintaining aliases So when you added the wife Nafz, ??, the alias Nafz, ?? was added to her record (this was more confusing because she was given the same surname as her husband). When you changed her name to Straub, Anna the Nafz, ?? alias remained, which was correct although it should have been changed to Nafz, Anna.

The Web pages export feature allows you to turn off aliases in the output if you wish, see: Exporting Web pages
