Same sex couples
A great niece has just set up home with her female partner. How do I enter them as a family? The system seems to only recognise heterosexual relations.

I need a solution for this. The marriage of couples with same sex in Switzerland is possible.

Hi,
Kith and Kin Pro does indeed call a union between between a man and a woman which produces one or more children a "marriage". However, this is a bit of a misnomer in genealogy terms and "union" might have been a better choice. The modern "same sex marriage" does not produce any offspring and so does not require to be shown in a genealogy.
