I'm getting the message
DBISAM engine error 9729 duplicate key found in the index primary of the table people.

then K&K hangs and won't proceed while checking integrity

how do i correct this issue so I can import a gedcom file to my tree?

I was successful in importing the gedcom into its own database to view. Would merging the databases be correct here as well?

I sorted it out with the merge feature...all good
