Are there any general instructions on how to transfer Kith and Kin Pro V3 and Tree Draw from a computer running Win XP to another computer running Win 7 (X64) without losing existing data?.

Hi,
Not really. Just make sure that your data goes in the same folder as it was on the original PC.

Is anybody running Kith and Kin Pro V3 in Win 7?. Copied folders Kith and Kin Pro and Kith and Kin Pro V3 to Win 7 C:\Program Files, trying to open KithKinP.exe got FreeImage.dll was missing. Copied this from XP to the same site C:\Windows\System 32 in Win 7, still got FreeImage.dll was missing. In Win 7 went to Control Panel, Programs/Uninstall a program, KKP not listed, went to Programs and Features. Run programs made for previous versions of Windows and ended up KKP is not compatible. Tried under C:\Program files X64 and C:\Users\Frank and got same result. Noted KKP V3 has been upgrade to V3.1. Will upgrade the XP files and try again. Somewhat frustrated.

Further to my comments above have downloaded from SpanSoft Kith and Kin Pro V3 file kithkin.msi and got it running in Win 7 X64. Have entered the Serial Number and Registration key and registered KKP. Will transfer Data from XP tp Win 7. As always it is a case of knowing the right sequence to transfer from XP to Win7.
