A3 charts to pdf

I have made several one page A3 charts manually - that is, not imported from Legacy. Most can be exported to an A3 pdf but two result in only some of the lines and text showing the pdf. I have tried restarting my computer to clear the memory, copying all the contents to a new file before exporting, and printing to pdf (which will not retain the page and print A3 settings). The Export to pdf has worked for most of the charts but not all. Any ideas please? Its for a family reunion next weekend....
