If, on closing down TreeDraw, you get the error message "Cannot create file C:\ProgramData\TreeDraw\TreeDraw.ini. Access is denied", click on OK and proceed as follows to fix it.
1) If your computer does not show hidden files/folders then:
Click on "Start | Control Panel | Appearance and Personalization | Folder Options". Click on the "View" tab and then in "Advanced settings" select "Show hidden files and folders". Click on "OK".
2) Do ONE of either (a) or (b).
a) Easy method - all options will be reset to defaults:
Click on "Start | Computer" then double-click on "Local Disk C:" then "ProgramData" then "TreeDraw". You will see a file named "TreeDraw" or "TreeDraw.ini" (it is the same file) identified as "Configuration Settings".
Right-click on the file and select "Delete".
or
b) Not-so-easy method - you will keep your option settings:
Click on "Start | Computer" then double-click on "Local Disk C:" then "ProgramData" then "TreeDraw". You will see a file named "TreeDraw" or "TreeDraw.ini" (it is the same file) identified as "Configuration Settings".
Right-click on the file and choose "Properties". Click on the "Security" tab and then the "Edit" button.
Select "Users" in the "Group or user_names" list.
In "Permissions for Users" at the bottom, click on the "Modify | Allow" check box ("Write | Allow" will also be selected automatically).
Click on "OK" and then click on "OK" in "TreeDraw.ini properties".
