indented ancestries?

Post by pamdavies » Mon Mar 13, 2006 3:36 pm

Another request for an enhancement to the K&KPro system: it would be great to be able to produce an Ancestry tree in indented form, like the Descendants tree which can already be done that way - so useful to paste into an email or to print out as a compact copy for reference. Perhaps the generations could be numbered negatively, so it would be compatible with the generation numbering in a descendants tree for the same person?

Just a suggestion, for the queue of "possible future enhancements". Does anyone else out there feel it would be useful?

I just wondered whether anyone - Nick or others - had any thoughts on this idea? Having just attended a family funeral at which I gave a couple of cousins printouts of our ancestral tree, I'd have like to be able to send the same info compactly as a text file (or tidied into Word) attachment to an email.

But I've got worse K&K problems just right now, as in my other post!
