KKPro slow to close down

I am running KKPro under Windows XP. I've noticed that it seems very slow to close down. This is more of a nuisance than a problem. Is there any housekeeping I can do to speed it up? There are about 700 persons in the database, together with some images.

This appears to be a WINXP feature. We're not sure why it does it. I don't think there is anything you can do about it.
