Hi Nick,
I have a large document I received from a friend that outlines some family tree info, but it is never really specific to a person.
In the example I have ... it talks about the Bunet families and their origins in a particular area of Scotland...it goes into their lands and churches and the other families they were connected to
How would I best enter this information to K&K?
thanks
Richard J.

Richard,
I have just seen your general query. I assume you must have at least an originating BUNET ancestor family? If so, then if I wanted to add a lot of background information I would probably place it in the Notes section for that first ancestral couple.
Don't forget you have a Notes Edit button, the Notes icon button and the Sources button, use the Help icon as necessary. You could place all the information in this Notes window to start off the family database, noting under Sources where it originates from and when you have later families added in then transfer the more immediately relevant information from this initial Notes window into their Notes window, etc.
