GEDCOM file image references

Is it possible to output references to images (i.e. filenames) as part of the Gedcom file in Kith And Kin Pro?

Apologies in advance if:
- This question has been asked (and answered before); or
- It's actually really easy and I'm being really stupid; or
- It's obviously impossible and I'm being stupid for asking.

I've got a huge amount of family tree information up on my website and am experimenting with new ways to display it - having this additional information in the Gedcom file would be incredibly handy.

I am, however, something of an amateur, so and help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid that there is no way of including the image file information in GEDCOM.

What a shame. I was hoping that the 'FILE' tag could be used as part of individual references (not just in the header information). Would that have a detrimental effect on the rest of the Gedcom file?
