Adding PDF as an object in Of that Ilk Pro

I have had version 2.02 since the end of 2002. Recently, I tried to add a PDF file as an object but no matter where I place the original file or name the PDF file I get an error "File does not exist:.

It is driving me nuts as I have added PDF files as objects many times and I can still view these files from within Of that Ilk.. The only change that I can think of is the upgrade to Service Pack 2 of Windows XP.

WinXP SP2 should cause no problems.

Have you tried adding a different PDF file?

Hello Nick,

I even tried one that I have sucessfully attached as an object to another person in the database.. The problem is that I don't use this application very much (it has been almost a yer since the last update), but I can remember that I spent lots of time getting the first one attached - I think that it had something to do with short file names..

SP2 was the only thing that has changed in that time - so it was a long shot.. Never mind - a few more hours and I will figure it out..
