Reports - as attachments for email

Post by Richard Johnston » Mon Dec 11, 2006 7:31 pm

Hi all

Just wondering, Am I missing this feature...can't seem to figure out how to...

Can Kith and Kin produce any of its reports as files for attaching to emails.

I know we can make gedcoms, and print a variety of reports, but in trying to share info with other researchers, am I limited to only gedcoms?

thanks

Richard

GEDCOMs are best but sometimes the recipient does not have a program to read the GEDCOM file with so I use "Print | Family details | File". This exports the Family Details report (which is the one with the most information) to a simple text file. You can either copy and paste this into your email or attach it.
