A minor point, I accept, but I have just been entering some new data on my wife's family that I got from my sister-in-law. I have added a new family for my mother-in-law's parents and then added an older sister.
On the Tree Area display, the pink icon for the older sister appears after that for my mother-in-law.
Is this because the icons for the children are displayed in the order they were entered into Kith&Kin rather than by age?

The children icons are displayed in the same order as the children appear in the Family Data form. There is an option which determines this order - "Options | Preferences | Options | Sort children and marriages". If this option is on then the children are sorted by birth/christening date; if it is off then the order can be changed by dragging the children in the list.
