Tree Layout - Children Icons, Marriage Dates
I have just been printing some tree layouts (KKPro v 3.1 on Win XP Pro) on 1xA4 sheet with some 44 family rectangles and noticed that the marriage date and children icons when ticked in the Report Control dialogue window show and print slightly differently in the preview screen and when printed, tha...

Thanks for the feedback. However TD still seems to open a blank new window with 'portrait' page breaks. If I click on Save Settings in the Options\Preferences\File Settings tab, having previously in File\Page Set Up.. selected Paper Size A4 & landscape, and close TD (and click No as a blank tree nee...

Keeping Page Orientation & Paper Size
System TD v3.2.4 in Win XP Pro SP2 Just a minor query - when I open TD the blank sheet shows the page breaks in "portrait" Looking in File\Page Setup... the orientation is Landscape. The Paper Size is shown as Custom instead of A4, changing this and also checking in Print Setup that it is at Landsca...

I have a motherboard which allows setting up RAID organised hard drives - the system is Win XP SP2 on Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 - my standby machine still runs Win 98SE, but this had a Abit KR7A RAID motherboard although I never set it up. I believe that a number of manufacturers make such boards. The ...

Re: Locations of timeline folder & Location of Folders
System: Windows XP Pro Sp2, K&K Pro v 3.1.0 I have just come across this thread referring to keeping the KKProv3 data on different drives. I'm not sure if I'm missing something in the query, but I have my databases on two physically different drives the KKPro executable program resides on one and I ...

General Family information
Richard, I have just seen your general query. I assume you must have at least an originating BUNET ancestor family? If so, then if I wanted to add a lot of background information I would probably place it in the Notes section for that first ancestral couple. Don't forget you have a Notes Edit button...

Tree layout in KKP v213 -- Print Quality Changing font size
Richard, I noticed with interest the comment that you had a problem in fitting the text into the family boxes. This is related to the problem I had with the new version of KKP. I found also that the lines connecting the boxes were thinner and poorly defined compared to those with the earlier version...

KKP 212 Installed in Win98SE - One Database fails to Open
Nick, Just got round to installing updates for KKP v212 and TD v311 into my Win98SE system. All installed quickly and without problems - glad Win98 has not been forgotten! Trees all appear to be OK and all the KKP databases tried so far, bar one, seem to be OK. Trying to open this database via the O...
