Access violation

Post by iainm » Wed Feb 10, 2016 9:00 pm

Hi

Just re-installed Tree Draw v4 on a Win 10 pc. Tried to open a previous tdr file and got the message:

Access violation at 006C3F2F in module 'treedraw.exe'

How do I sort that? Saw some previous reference to removing tree draw.ini file - but there is not one of those in the file list that I see.

Ta

Iain

Hi,
Sorry to hear that you are having problems with TreeDraw.
Do you get this error as TreeDraw is starting up or only when you open a chart file?
It may be a Windows permissions problem - try right-clicking on the TreeDraw icon and running the software in Administrator Mode.

Hi
Tried run as administrator and the same error occurs

Tree draw opens OK. Just when I try to open the file. Other files open fine.

Hi,
It could be corruption in that one chart file. If you email the file to the email address on our support page we could confirm this but we may not be able to recover it.
