I have upgraded to Tree Draw 4 and find that some, but not all, of my TDR files created in V3 will not open.
Why is this? I'm obviously missing something !

Do you get an error message when TreeDraw fails to open a TDR file? What is the message?

Three examples below:
Could not open a V3.0.1 chart file.
Could not open a V3.2.3 chart file.
Could not open a V3.2.5 chart file.
Different box with Orange Triangle ! -- WARNING
This file was created on a PC with a different screen resolution.
The file opens correctly after I click OK.
After the file is saved it reopens without giving any warning message.

Hi,
Please check that your copy of TreeDraw is properly registered by using "Help | About" - it should then show your serial number. If it does not, please use "Help | Register".
If the program is registered and the V3 files still fail to open, please email one of the files to support@spansoft.org and we will investigate.

I thought I had registered but obviously didn't do it correctly.
I still get the screen resolution WARNING ! Bu hat is to be expected because I have changed to a wider monitor with a different screen resolution and the problems is easily solved as detailed above.
