Export PDF File (Kit & Kin Pro V 3.2.4)

Post by minetti » Wed Dec 09, 2015 9:53 am

It's very strange: a couple of months ago I was able to export a nice 13-pages PDF file as a Tree Layout exactly as it was displayed on screen and with alignment marks on each corner of the page to help cutting the borders and sticking together the sheets. I remember there was a box somewhere with something like "add alignment marks" that I now don't find anymore. I still have the same configuration on my PC, including Acrobat DC that I had two months ago. And the last Kith & Kin update was before that printout.
I attach one page, out of the 13, that shows the marks on the corners.

I now get ugly printouts no matter whether I use "Export PDF" or print on Actobat PDF virtual printer (this is actually worse), and the files are large (around 1 MB) compared to the nice original output PDF that was only 50 kB.
Please help: what happened to the Export PDF function?
Thank you
Giampaolo

Hi,
Kith and Kin Pro has never had an option to add alignment marks to a PDF export, so I think that you must have been using some other method to export your PDF file. The PDF export feature in Kith and Kin Pro V3 has not changed http://kithkinpro.spansoft.org/manual/html/updates.php

Hi,
Thank you for the reply! It was goot to know that it's not K&K's fault. But what the heck have I used then?
