I ran into the need to sort persons with a "unique" tree code. That's because I need to display four different families at the same time and their generation level too.
This way, I need to identify each Family with an "F" code consist of four digits: the first digit, typical for THAT Family; the second digit will be used to identify the "generation level"; and the last two to identify any and each children at that level.

Is there any way that I can use to edit "F" and "P" codes in order to get what I need??

Hi,

Family F codes are generated automatically and can't be changed.

I think what you need to do is add an extra field to the family table "Options | User fields | Family" to hold the code you want.
