Running Win 7 Home Edition, K and K Pro 3.10, Tree Draw 3.24. During tidy up located a file CHANDLER.TRE on a floppy. Properties state modified 18.10.1995 Created a Chandler database but cannot transfer .tre Understand a .tre file is a K and K export file. Any recommendations?. Have been able, after some hassle, to open it in Notepad, 13 pages. Chandler database is blank, checking KKPro3Data files People.dbk and People.idx in other databases are missing. Tried to open using Tree Draw but got not Win 32. Could translate the 13 pages to the Chandler database but hope there is an easier way.

K&KPro V3 does not support .TRE files (see viewtopic.php?t=230)

If you previously had K&KPro V2 you can download V2 from the "Downloads" page, install it side-by-side with V3 and run the conversion utility. This will create a V1 database which you can then convert to V3 using the V3 database conversion utility.
