"Flotaing Point Division by zero" Error message

Post by geneseeker » Sun Jan 09, 2011 11:26 am

Hello Nick

I'm running K&K V.3.1 with Windows 7-I suspect that this isn't a problem specific to the software but am bemused! I have been trying to get the database up to date and wanted to imported photos to help illustrate the html.

I have successfully imported many photos but one specific photo I keep getting the same error. I tried renaming it and then rescanning it but each time with the same result. Initially it was a .tiff (for some reason!) and then I rescanned it as a .jpg with the same result.

Any suggestions welcome!

Hi,

I'm not sure why you would be getting this error with just one particular photo. Can you please email the photo to support@spansoft.org so that we can investigate.

If it's a bug in the software we would like to get it fixed in the upcoming update.

I've found that it was the format of the photo that was the problem. K&K recognised that the format wasn't acceptable, so rejected it. Somehow the photo had saved as a .jpf - I've never heard of this extension and how it happened when saving, I don't know.
Thanks Nick.
