SQL Query

Post by arjonker » Thu Apr 22, 2010 10:58 am

:x  :?
I have recently upgraded from K&K Pro V1 to V3, and used K&K before that.
In the oldest version I found the "powerful search-engine" SQL far too complicated for me.
In K&K Pro V1 it was very easy to find text in Notes: Ctrl + S, and type in the words.
Today I tried to find Andries Poppe in all the Notes, but I do not understand what is what and what goes where. The Help explanation does not help me either, I still do not understand it.
I get only warnings that something is expected but SQL finds something else!

Hi,

You don't need to use SQL for this. Simply use "Search" and then click on the "Person" tab at the top and type Andries Poppe into the "Notes" field near the bottom of the fields list. Theck click on the "Search" button.

If you want to search in the family notes instead, just click on the "Family" tab at the top.
