Using v3 on dual monitor system

Post by ijhedges » Mon May 25, 2009 2:54 pm

I have just upgraded to KithKin Pro v3 on a dual monitor system. I have the software set to run on the right hand monitor of the pair.

The default locations of the Tree Area control, Manage Layers and Timeline boxes are not visible in this configuration.
Running the software on the left monitor causes the Tree Area control, Manage Layers and Timeline boxes to appear on the extreme right hand side of the left monitor. Once they have been opened once in this position they work fine on the right hand monitor.

Not really a problem, just a note on how to get around it.

It doesn't remember the locations when reopening the software, so you have to do the above each time :(

Hi,

There are currently some issues with dual-monitor systems which we are working to fix.

Which mode are you using; Clone, Span or Dual-view ?

Hi Nick,

I am using Dual View. My primary monitor is the right hand one, with Windows extended onto the left hand one.

Regards,

Ian
