Missing scrollbars?

Post by donne » Wed May 13, 2009 9:10 am

I seem to be missing the scrollbars in the Notes window on the Person/Family data forms. In V2, scrollbars appeared when the text was too large for it all to fit in the window. I know I can see all the text if I open the Edit window, but that's sometimes inconvenient, and it's not always obvious that some of the text is hidden in the small window.

Hi Roger,

There was certainly a vertical scroll bar in V2 but not a horizontal one since the text wrapped to fit the box width.

The vertical scroll bar is missing from V3 and we will fix that in the next release.

Thanks for reporting it.

Hi Nick,

Is it possible to add scroll bars to the Publication details & Notes windows of the Source Document window? The data in these fields can spill over and not be obvious and it is not possible to open these fields in edit mode to see all the text at once.

Hi John,

Yes we will do that and the multi-line fields in the Repositories window too.

It is possible to open the notes editor in all of these fields just by double-clicking on the text box.
