Shop Til You Drop will pick up the correct currency symbol and layout from your Windows settings.

However, a problem on some Windows 7 PCs means that the currency symbol may default to a $ sign. This can be fixed quite easily by using "Start | Control Panel | Clock, Language and Region | Change the date, time or number format | Formats | Customize this format | Currency" and then typing the required currency symbol (eg. £) into the "Currency symbol" box - do not select the symbol from the drop-down list - type it in. Click on OK.

I think you need to change the format Windows that uses display dates, times, currency, and measurements. You can also change the sorting order of text to match sorting rules used in a specific country or region. This will enable you to do the task easier and faster.
