What is the best way to publish a chart on my website?

File, Export, Metafile & Bitmap are greyed out and I don't want to use a PDF file due to its size.

PDF file would be my choice because most people have the Acrobat Reader plugin for their Web browser and it produces a nice, clean image.

You can export bitmaps or metafiles by first selecting the parts of the chart you want to export.

A bitmap or metafile could be converted to jpeg in Paint Shop Pro or similar, if you want to reduce the file size.

Thanks Nick.

I'll try the various options for size and readability.

Just to let everyone know, I created a PDF of my complete tree (that's over 250 people in 9 generations) and it's only 450KB in size.

This is quite manageable on a modern PC with a broadband connection.

I've also produced one with photos of about 20 people, this is slightly larger at 600KB.
