Positioning husband and wife side-by-side on a chart

Post by Coldm » Sat Oct 04, 2014 10:24 am

Hi

I recently bought Tree Draw 4 together with Kith and Kin Pro and would like to know if there is anyway to position a husband and wife side-by-side on a chart. When I import the family tree to Tree Draw, the husband is listed first with the wife's positioned below. I would like to position them next to one another with a (=) sign separating them, is this possible?

Regards

Very easy. You may have to widen the chart to make space but all you need to do is select and move (drag & drop) the details of the wife to the desired position and then insert a new text box for the "=" sign where you want it.

Cheers Graham

I've just tried what you advised and seem to have got to grips with what I was trying to do.

Many Thanks
