I'm getting error "LegRetrieveEventTable: Field 'EventExclude' not found." when I try to import an ancestral tree from an upgraded Legacy Family Tree V 8.0 file. I don't get the error when I import the tree from an older Legacy Family Tree V 7 file. I have TreeDraw Legacy V 4.1.2 and Legacy Family Tree 8.8.8.353 running under Win 7.

Hi,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems using TreeDraw Legacy Edition. We aware of this issue and should be releasing a fix in a couple of days.

In the meantime, if your Legacy database has no private events or if you wish to include private events in your TreeDraw chart, selecting the "Private records" option in the import dialog (where you select the root person) will avoid the error.
