Ref numbers - how do I stop them?

Ref numbers - how do I stop them?

How do I stop the Reference numbers appearing, there aren't any in the GedCom import.
Is it possible to access the database to delete them?

Please use "Options | Preferences | Import fields" and remove the tags from the Name and Child's Name data types.
