I've just started using Treedraw (version 4) and have messed it up already. I was trying to add occupation and cause of death but seem to have ended up with cause of death but no names of anybody on my tree. Help.
Joan

Hi,
I'll just repeat the solution here in case it helps someone else out.
In "Options | Preferences | Import fields", please click on "Name" in the "Imported data type" box - the "Format for this data type" should be something like "<Firstnames> <Surname>". If it is not, please click on the "Default" button. Do the same for the "Child's name" data type.
Then click on "Person details" in the "Imported data type" box. Now you can set up the "Format for this data type" to include the cause of death and occupation fields. It will probably look something like:
b. <Birth date> <Birth place>
c. <Christening date> <Christening place>
d. <Death date> <Death place>
bur. <Burial date> <Burial place>
Cause of death: <Cause of death>
Occupation: <Occupation>
