I have a feature request: in the recent Tredraw version images can be resized unfortunately one cannot select to resize them by keeping the original aspect ratio - this might end in making people slim (some would appreciate that ) but also fat.
Would it be possible to add a feature so one can change the size while keeping the aspect ratio? This could be done by pressing an additional key on the keyboard while draging the mouse at a corner of an image.
This key could be CTRL or ALT or SHIFT (or all three). Even different behaviour could be implemented as follows:
- pressing none of the obove mentioned keys will be the same function like implemented in the recent version
- pressing CTRL should keep orignal spect ratio - if snap to grid is sctivated it should snap to the vertical or horizontal grid depending on to which one the mouse is closer ignoring the other grid line e.g if the mouse is closer to the horizontal grid line snap to grid should snap to the horizontal line while keeping the aspect ratio of the original image (so no additional snap to the vertical grid line)
- pressing SHIFT should keep original aspect ratio - if snap to grid is activated only vertical grid lines are used to snap to
- pressing ALT should keep original aspect ratio - if snap to grid is activated only horizontal grid lines are used to snap to
So if snap to grid option is not activated all three keys (CTRL,ALT,SHIFT) do the same by keeping aspect ratio - only if snap to grid is activated they work different as discribed above.
Thanks
