TreeDraw 3 will not install on my PC
Hi, i have recently downloaded TD3, and tried to install it on my pc and an error occurs just after the install shield extracts. saying
"C:\Windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications. Close/Ignore."
My PC is p3.0 running XP professional. 512Ram.
Any suggestions?

TreeDraw Legacy Install
I have tried installing from:
Click this link to download the TreeDraw Legacy Edition
http://www.spansoft.org/data/tdlegacy.exe
I've tried installing from this link, saving to my computer and
launching ... it opens, I click RUN, and it gives me the prompt 'this will install TreeDraw Legacy Edition, do you wish to continue? I say YES, and it does nothing. I guess the self-extracting file doesn't work ??
I did go to: http://www.SpanSoft.org, clicked on TreeDraw, download ...
there are several options. Not sure which one to select. They all say
Shareware.
I tried to download the free TreeDraw viewer (even though I just paid
$40 for the software) - and it does the same thing. The self-extracting
window flashes barely - and then nothing.
Please advise - I really need this software!

TreeDraw Legacy Install
Thank you Nick for the reply, but it still won't install.
I'm getting really frustrated - I have tons of information typed into Legacy, and I can't print it in the format I need.
This is insane, I've tried everything. (and throwing my wireless mouse at the wall didn't work either)
Please advise if you have any tricks left. I did check, and I have those 3 files (for XP) mentioned above.
Any assistance is most appreciated. Thank you.

Just checking for updates and saw flybycop message of 17 Dec 2006. Further to Nick's advice are you running Broadband?. Currently I have XP Home with ADSL Broadband running continuously, recently had a Canon printer which refused to install until the Broadband was shutdown after stopping the antivirus etc.
