Have Legacy 6
Imported into this a family tree put together by a family member but needs my side of the family updating etc but original member not available to consult, I received this as a GEDCOM file ,also I now have Tree Draw Legacy v 3.1.1

The trouble is I do not have a clue how to proceed
I am hoping to form a tree as per the Tree Draw Sample.

I need to be able to import into T D Legacy and form a tree.

Please use "File | Import from | GEDCOM file" in Legacy to get your data into Legacy. Then you can start up TreeDraw Legacy Edition and import the tree from your new Legacy family file.

Not sure if this is correct

I have imported from Legacy c:\Legacy\Data "family name here" desc ged (3)

It opens with part of the family tree already set up similar to sample and appears to be just one page .

I would really like to import prior to the above part if possible

The GED file in Legacy has 297 individuals 84 families and seems easy to navigate.
