Clipboard not recording the complete page of TreeDraw data.

Post by Peter B » Fri Nov 30, 2007 10:20 am

When selecting a page to copy to the clipboard (export as metafile), the right hand side of the names etc in the tree are clipped off and therefore the transfer to a Word document doesn't reflect the information on the TreeDraw page. Clipboard viewer confirms the clipping process is from TreeDraw to Clipboard. Using version 3.03. Has any other person experienced this problem. Help appreciated so I can transfer a complete page of TreeDraw data to a Word document.

We believe that this has something to do with the aspect ratio of the your
display as set up in "Control Panel | Display | Settings | Screen
resolution". Some resolution settings seem to produce this problem while
others do not.

You may need to try some different resolution settings until you can get the
Copy/Paste to work.

I have experienced the same problem using a new wide-screen monitor and have tried all six resolution settings available, from 800x600 to 1680x1050. The bottom and right side of trees are truncated at all lower resolutions, and even at the highest resolution the right side of trees is truncated. Any suggestions?
