Backup problem

Because of some HDD changes, I have a CD backup of up-to-date K&KPro data, and six month old data on my running computer. I have about 65 family databases.

Before attempting a full backup, I overwrote one database, White, from the CD. K&K would not open this, giving messages about Read Only files, and hanging as it attempted to set up this family.

I have read the recent queries from Robert and Bob, and the replies which seem to deal with similar problems. Presumably I can delete the Read Only file attributes of all files in the White database, but should these files be set to Archive or are all attribute boxes left unchecked?

Problem solved by changing the attributes of all files in the White family database from Read Only to Archive
