Re: Upgrading Legacy TreeDraw 4
I'm such a DORK!!!! Please disregard my post. For those that don't know, or just forgot like I did, all you have to do is scroll out/in using the mouse wheel.

Upgrading Legacy TreeDraw 4
Hello, I just downloaded/upgraded to V4 on my new laptop. When I imported a descendant tree, only the statistical data box showing how many people/families were imported, date of creation, version etc. is visible. There is a bottom scroll bar that is greyed out, but none on the right side for vertic...

Yes I know how to change the path, and actually it would be the "Save In" drop down. However it can get pretty old having to basically re-map the save location each time. My concern is that it keeps defaulting to save in Legacy/Data instead of the TreeDraw folder no matter how many times I change th...

Nick, This is what is happening. When I first open TreeDraw and select the Open File Icon or Menu / File / Open it looks in the TreeDraw folder. If I create a new chart either using the New Icon or Menu / New and then select the Import Icon or Menu / Import it will import from Legacy / Data as it sh...

Close Icon
After having read the help file it appears that when you select the 'Close' icon, it closes the whole program and not just the current chart. It's kind of a pain to have to restart the program just to work on a different chart. I did a quick look at the website and did not see anywhere to send feedb...

File location of Charts
What is the default file location for saved Charts? The first time I saved a chart it was saved in TreeDraw Legacy next to the sample file. Now it will default to Legacy / Data / 'chartname...'. Does it make any difference other than the convenience of not having to change the file location? If it s...

For anyone else that my have this issue: This is what I tried the other day: Options / Preferences / Import Fields / Name data type / <'Person> (this is to get the RIN from Legacy). This worked fine. Adding Bracket/Parenthasis around RIN
Good morning all,
I am using the most current version of TreeDraw Legacy Edition and was wondering how to add either Brackets [ ] or Parenthasis ( ) around the RIN?
I know it can be done because they are there on the sample chart in TreeDraw.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Kelly
