Once again I'm caught not paying attention. When it came time to "export selected pages" I somehow saw only one page on the screen and thought there was nothing to select.
Can't wait to get to the copy shop.

Empty PDfs
My family ancestor chart, after many hours of editing, looks splendid on screen, but that is at far as it goes: Pdf versions come up blank. I think I'm doing everything right: After File/page setup adjustments I move to File/Export/PDF file. No complaints from TreeDraw during the process, but the re...

Wall Charts coming up blank
TreeDraw's Legacy Edition Help does not have "Wall Charts" on its index and I can find nothing that might be related to the subject. Nevertheless, my local print-shop man advises,"Just give me a Pdf of the chart, in one block, and it's simple." Following what looks like the mandatory process, I sele...

Yes, there might be a language question involved.
Thanks for that lead. Yes, I have my OS set for Spanish, but that has never caused a single problem with any program or operation, including TreeDraw, until now . But there is something else. You made me realize that I do fiddle with a Spanish-language BETA version of Legacy 6 that has its own folde...

Still struggling
I MUST be doing something wrong. I've done everything you suggested in your reply and still find myself stymied. 1- Every time I activate TreeDraw I still immediately face the warning which you said you have never seen: "Warning: failed to set data for configuración" I ignore it, not knowing what to...

What could TreeDraw be warning me about?
I've just re-purchased TreeDraw and am running into some familiar editing snags. The program opens every time with "Warning: failed to set data for configuración" -which I don't understand. Then it zips along as if nothing is really wrong: I import a gedcom file from Legacy and open an ancestral tre...

Still can't locate that INI file
A double check confirms that there is no TreeDraw.INI fle in my Tree Draw folder. Here is what it contains: -Help (indiv folder, no WIN file) -BWCC.DLL -Default.tdp -GED55.gmr -Graphics and color boxes.tdp -Graphics.tdp -Sample Legacy Genealogy Software -Sample Tree Draw chart -Sample.FG -Sample.TC ...

Thanks, but please bear with me...
Thanks for the advice. I was not able to locate that TreeDraw.INI file on my HD, neither manually within the T.D. folder nor through Windows Search. The good news is that today I was able to create a new tree without bringing up any error messages. Still, Preferences (or whatever) doesn't seem just ...

More clues
Here are a few more details that might shed some light on my above problem. A rival tree program immediately on opening signals me that a file has been deleted; it's precisely the one in question. Now I recall that at one point I pressed "delete" instead of "close" to clear the Tree Draw screen of t...

Acccess violation?
I blush at noticing that I am crowding the top of the list with my serial problems. Oh well, now my ancestral trees (I do no other type) open as empty skeletons without data. The problem started while creating a new tree and toying with Preferences>date settings. From then on Preferences got stuck, ...

Can I recover from an editing slipup?
I'm deep into the final editing of a 10-gen ancestor chart, and suddenly I've hit a snag and cannot proceed. After inadvertently deleting text data from a boxed individual, I tried a manual insert through "Text". I might have acted hastily: according to "Adding Text" in Help, I should have first tur...

Placing boxes behind text
I know this must be dumb, but I cannot figure out how to see my text in a chart when a line box is drawn around a person's entry The text disappears behind an empty box. I've read all the Help info on lines, but nothing I have tried makes the text appear in front of (or rather inside) the box.
